Gazi University Hosts Two Onsite Seminars as part of Shake-Up Academia

The Shake-Up partner Gazi University is organizing two onsite seminars as part of the Shake-Up Academia, contributing to knowledge exchange in the fields of architecture, engineering, and sustainability. 

Artificial Intelligence Applications and Earthquake Resistant Design Seminar 

The first event, titled “Artificial Intelligence Applications and Earthquake Resistant Design Seminar”, will take place on April 62026, at 13:30 in the Faculty of Architecture, Yükseliş Hall 2. The seminar will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Aslı ER AKAN, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence into earthquake-resistant design. The session will address real-time monitoring systems, seismic sensors, base isolation, structural reinforcement, and advanced techniques aimed at improving seismic resilience and ensuring safer structures. 

Energy Efficiency in Buildings Seminar 

The second seminar, “Energy Efficiency in Buildings Seminar”, is scheduled for April 20, 2026, at 13:30, at the same venue. Dr. Ayşenur Coşkun will lead the seminar, exploring sustainable design strategies and energy efficiency in buildings. Key topics include renewable energy integration, smart systems, and innovative approaches to reducing energy consumption while enhancing environmental sustainability.
